Audience Insight
Alongside on-going visitor surveying at the Museum, we are commissioned to undertake regular research to inform the development of exhibition marketing, display, interpretation schemes, and to measure and evaluate their success. Methods used include Focus Groups, Fulfilment Mapping, Questionnaire Surveys and bespoke Observation Techniques.
Our research delivers real insight into audiences and detailed measures of success, beyond visitor figures alone. We provide clear, actionable recommendations that go on to inform an iterative process of developing and marketing new exhibitions, displays and initiatives.
Benefiting from this deep understanding of its audiences, recent exhibitions at the Museum have significantly exceeded visitor targets and received widespread critical acclaim.
“Their highly intelligent and insightful reports have had a major effect on the way we think about our visitors”.
Xerxes Mazda, Head of Interpretation, British Museum
